The photo below was taken early March 1996 during the installation of the reflectiong tyvec sheets inside the outer detector, a few days before the SuperK tank was completely filled with water. On the bottom you can see one of OD PMTs as they are installed now in the outer detector frame, mounted with a wave-length shifter plate for light sensitivity enhancement.
